2025 Recipient

My name is Montana Jubenvill, and I grew up in Gilbert Plains. I grew up on the farm always helping during seeding and harvest. My favourite hobbies include being outside, going quadding, hockey, and helping out on the farm. During high school I played volleyball, winning 4 consecutive provincial championships. I will be graduating from Gilbert Plains Collegiate Institute and will be attending Assiniboine Community College in the fall. I have been accepted into the Agribusiness program. I will also be playing hockey for the ACC Cougars women’s hockey team. After 2 years I will get my Agribusiness diploma and then go into an agriculture advanced diploma. I would like to thank the Dauphin Ag Society for awarding me with this bursary and everyone who supported me along the way.

My name is Sophie Eshuis, and I have a deep passion for farming and agriculture. Growing up in Dauphin, I was introduced to the agricultural industry through my dad after our family moved from the Netherlands when I was three years old. My hobbies reflect my love for the outdoors and hands-on activities. I enjoy farming, hunting, traveling and being with friends and family! I will be graduating from Dauphin Regional Comprehensive Secondary School and will be attending the University of Manitoba this fall to pursue a diploma in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences. I am excited to discover where my studies and experiences will lead me in the future. My goal is to find a fulfilling career that combines my interests and allows me to make a positive impact in the agricultural industry. I am incredibly grateful to the Dauphin Agricultural Society for awarding me this bursary, and I want to extend my thanks to everyone who has supported me. Thank you for your generous support.
