April 16, 2021 (Dauphin, MB) - The Dauphin Agricultural Society board of directors made the difficult decision to cancel what would have been our 130th annual fair scheduled for July 2-4, 2021. We have considered all possible options and measures and feel that at this time, we are unable to deliver a high quality event that our patrons, sponsors, and community would expect.
The Dauphin Agricultural Society is one of the oldest organizations in our area, and we are proud to be part of our community. In fulfilling our mission statement, we will continue to be proud advocates of endorsing agriculture production, 4H, Home Living and education.
Our Board of Directors recently chose Roger Sheldon as the recipient of this years, Ron Brook memorial award. This award is presented to an individual or business in our greater community that has made significant contributions to agriculture.
A sincere thank you to our volunteers, patrons, vendors, sponsors and ultimately our community for supporting the Dauphin Agricultural Society.
We look forward to seeing everyone in 2022 as we showcase our events with Farm Outlook in March and the fair July 1-3, 2022. Please watch for more information on our new website at http://www.dauphinagsociety.ca, as well as our social media pages.
